Does anyone use these for watching TV/playing games etc.? How do you find them for comfort for extended period of time? Can anyone suggest one that is relatively low off the floor, but tall enough to provide neck support?

i have 2 of them and they are quite huge. they are good if you get the position right but after a while, you will feel like you are sliding down. then you would have to get up just to reposition it. i use them to watch telly but for gaming i find them too low. also it doesnt really support your neck unless you get the really big ones.
by the way they cost quite a bit so why not save up and get a lazy boy chair. much more comfortable and lots of support for the neck
one of my bean bag is fatboy
I agree with Mightymouse - you end up sliding down them. For relaxed gameplay then they're a good choice, but hopeless for intense games. And if they split you'll keep finding the "beans" for years to come!
Thanks for the replies. There are several reasons I am considering a beanbag:
1. I am living in rented accommodation, so I don't really want to spend half to a whole grand on a chair (comfy as some of those lazyboy chair looks)
2. I am using a table top projector setup for watching movies, and will eventually use it for console gaming. I need to position myself under the projector (so that it doesn't block anything). I might put a bookshelf on the table to add heights in due course, but I rather keep the seats low.
Ideally, I would like a beanbag that start off quite tall, enough for me to lean my head on. At the moment, I am keen on this 'multimedia' beanbags: http://gaming.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=8861 ; at £300, I wouldn't have touched it with a long stick, but now that it can be found for half price, it is quite tempting, keeping in mind that I have no speakers in my room at all and bean bags are more pricey than I would've guessed (less gimmicky bean bags seem to cost around £65 online). Headphones are great, but sometime I just want to be free of having anything on top of my head. It *looks* quite tall at the back, so I am wondering if this might fit the bill (keeping in mind that I have modest expectations of the sound quality etc). This is a long shot but - has anyone here tried it before?
Having used the Slouchpod for around three weeks, I personally wouldn't use if for everyday use, it does feel a bit cold unless you've been sitting in at a while, which is obviously the material used.
When you sit it thought the back lifts so it keeps your back straight. It's certainly comfortable for gaming, and your arse slumps nicely into it.
Haven't tried any alternatives so not sure what else is out there. £150 is much more in line with what I think the slouchpod is worth.
The speakers are good, although bear in mind that you'll have to trail leads from your tv to the beanbag.

Thanks Steve. How easy is it to fold/move around? According to various websites, it's just shy of £10kg, which makes it - very heavy.
On paper, this chair really seem quite suitable for my setup (having a projector setup mean that all the hardware is behind me, so the trail shouldn't be too big of an issue). I just hope that it's comfortable to relax on too.
I have found one alternative: http://www.pyramat.com/gamebags/gamebag-2.1/ - It's about £100 in the UK, which is a bit of a rip-off when it you consider that it's only $90 in the US, but it's still £50 cheaper than the Slouchpod. Material looks comfy, but it also looks quite a bit smaller though.
