Just a few questions.
From my understanding, any court action taking that involves a child must take place in the childs town/city where they live, does anyone know and diffrent to this?
has anyone ever had dealings with CAFCASS?

Generally speaking CAFCASS will be working in what represents the best interests of the child/children involved in the case, so yes they'll certainly request that the case be heard in the court nearest to where the children reside but a Judge may use their descretion to get the case held in another court if one party puts forward a particuarly compelling arguement (e.g. one party is disabled and unable to travel)
