I sprained my ankle in bed

Really. I woke up this morning with a sprained ankle. I was fine when I went to bed.

I have seen a doctor and am now on crutches. She said that it was the bedsheets being too tight around my feet, forcing my foot into an unnatural position.

How weird is that? I once broke three toes on my right foot and could still walk. I have sprained ankles before, playing rugby and doing other hard things, but the most painful damage of all is a sprain caused by sleeping. I feel such a girl.

I am staying in an hotel in Paris and I guess that the chamber maid, or whatever they are called these days, is a bit keen.

    I think I'll sue.

lmao, this made me laugh. I've never heard of anything like this happening before - must of been a shock! Maybe you have that sleeping disorder of being very active in your sleep?

Im pretty sure it was what you were doing with the other person in the bed rather than just simply sleeping.

Which story did you tell her?

Re: I sprained my ankle in bed

I spent 4 hours in surgery and 6 months in a full leg cast because "I sat down awkwardly".

Imagine explaining that. The painkillers were nice though

You really should of told the doctor about falling off the cupboard in a spider man outfit you know.
In the internets, no one can hear you sarcasm.
