Chatting with our resident Anime überlord Sleepyhead & we thought this might be a nice event for a mini meet in the summer, and get some members not usually up for Hexus Socials together for a common interest.

It's a pretty nice event as it covers Sci-Fi, comics, games, manga and anime so it caters for alot. Get some nice deals or non-sale items given away (like how I got the Dead Space Book) and there are usually talks/forums for more popular guests; in Oct 08 it was the cast of Heroes. There's quite abit of fan made stuff (comics, arts etc.), crazy people who dress up; generally a good laugh as long as you don't take anything seriously. :P

Was thinking of going to this. Will have to see nearer the time if i have the money & time as i'll be doing lots of fishing during May :)

I went up to one of these at the NEC last year, I'll see if I can dig out some photos I took :)
