hrm, turns out I may be seeing a bit of dragonforce in june
not really into their stuff but I hope they put on a good show at least

Dragonforce are so much better live. I have seen them four times and they easily blow away some much bigger names. It's really hard not to smile while listening to them. It's kind of weird but I feel affectionately toward them. Metal is metal, but some metals are so much cuter. My daughter always complains that they aren't that melodic, but when we are there, screaming along, she is 100% with them. Fun; with a big 'F'.

If you like fast cheesy metal - what about Children of Bodom? Nothing original or groundbreaking, but good balls-out metal

(BTW, on the subject of metal, did anyone see the episode of Bones with the "black metal" band in it? I'm not normally a genre snob, but that made me cringe like hell at several points :-/)

And Bones has what credibility? a 25 year-old hottie forensic pathologist? In the books she's 50-ish, so she's learned something. No wonder they don't get Black Metal.
