Why is it easier to find bad stuff???

    There are some reasons why the world is awesome;

    and some why it isn't....

But why is it easier to find stuff that just isn't good???

Are we obsessed with stuff that's wrong (ie 2 girls 1 cup 'phenomenon')??

Re: Why is it easier to find bad stuff???

Try finding a book called - Everything Bad is Good for you.

It's an interesting read. Just shows that everything bad actually teaches you something, and therefore is good as you learn from it.

Whether it be another way of firing those synapses (videogames) or tolerance for those different to you. It's all good in some sorta way.

Apart from death, that's pretty bad.

That sounds pretty good - i might grab a copy

I agree with Andy3536 though - where would I be if I had never seen people tripping up or just failing miserably at something!

I reckon it also has something to do with making us feel better about ourselves

You always tend to hear about/see the bad stuff before the good stuff. Bad news travels fast.

At least all the nasty sick stuff we get to view from the saftey of your monitor are you sure that it is not down to your outlook? Chubby Loving is not that bad. Cliff Richard makes me feel sick and uneasy

Don't let it get you down Snaffles. I will now perform, if indeed I may do so, the opening song from that classic 80s cartoon series Dogtanian and the Three Muskahounds. It is sure to lift the soul and make a dark day lighten.

ONE FOR ALL AND ALL FOR ONE,
    MUSKEHOUNDS ARE ALWAYS READY.
ONE FOR ALL AND ALL FOR ONE,
    HELPING EVERYBODY.
ONE FOR ALL AND ALL FOR ONE,
    IT'S A PRETTY STORY
    SHARING EVERYTHING WITH FUN,
    THAT'S THE WAY TO BE!

ONE FOR ALL AND ALL FOR ONE,
    MUSKEHOUNDS ARE ALWAYS READY.
ONE FOR ALL AND ALL FOR ONE,
    HELPING EVERYBODY.
ONE FOR ALL AND ALL FOR ONE,
    CAN SOUND PRETTY CORNY
IF YOU'VE GOT A PROBLEM CHUM
    THINK HOW IT COULD BE!

    DA-DA-DA, DA-DA-DA,
THEY CROSS THEIR HEARTS AND PRAY,
    DA-DA-DA, DA-DA-DA,
THEY CROSS THEIR SWORDS NIGHT AND DAY,
    DA-DA-DA, DA-DA-DA,
THEY DRINK A BEER AND SWEAR THEY'RE
    FAITHFUL TO THEIR KING!

There, now it doesn't seem so bad does it? Lets do a non-gay hug...

You have no idea how much that little tune has changed my perspective...
Altohugh if I had to come up with my favourite cat cartoon-themed song (which isn't a massive genre..) it would definately be:

    Top Cat!
    The most effectual Top Cat!
Who's intellectual close friends get to call him T.C.
    Providing it's with dignity.

    Top Cat!
The indisputable leader of the gang.
    He's the boss, he's a pip, he's the championship.
    He's the most tip top,
    Top Cat.

    Yes he's a chief, he's a king,
    But above everything,
    He's the most tip top,
    Top Cat.

    Top Cat!

    what a tune!

    Children of the Sun
See your time has just begun
    Searching for your ways
    Through adventures everyday

    Every day and night
    With the condor in flight
With all your friends in tow
We search for the Cities of Gold

    Ahhhh-ah-ah-ah-ah
Wishing for the Ci-ties of Go-old
    Ahhh-ah-ah-ah-ah
    Someday we will find
    The Ci-ties of Go-old!

    Dooo doo doo do
    Ahh-ah-ah
    Dooo doo doo do
    Ci-ties of Go-old
    Dooo doo doo do
    Ahh-ah-ah
    Dooo doo doo do
    Ci-ties of Go-old

    Children of the Sun
    Someday soon you're gonna find
    That your destiny
Holds the secret, holds the key

    Ahhhh-ah-ah-ah-ah
    Someday we will find
    The Ci-ties of Go-oo-oo-old!

Re: Why is it easier to find bad stuff???

Well I didn't want to have to do this, but if it's a cartoon song off...

Somewhere in the dark and nasty regions, where nobody goes, stands an ancient castle. Deep within this dank and uninviting place, lives Berk, overworkd servant of the Thing Upstairs... But that's nothing compared to the horrors that lurk beneath the Trap Door... for there is always something down there, in the dark, waiting to come out...

Don't you open that Trap Door!
You're a fool if you dare!
Stay away from that Trap Door!
    Cos there's something down there!
