I cannot see Microsoft missing that small change. Bill can probably just look down the back of the sofa. Wonder what EU will do with all that cash? Probably more subsides for food we do not need or something.

    --Edit--

I’ve just realised that Microsoft will keep this in the courts for so long that Apes will probably be ruling the World when it is all done.

I think its unfair that any company should be forced to reduce whats included in a package. I dont think MS really care about it either, apart from they dont want to LOSE and also because the outcome will become a standard for other cases like it against other companys? Neitehr do i think that just because MS is a big comany that it should be treated worse than small comanys. Its not a big companys fault if it is more sucsessfull. The small comanys should diversify into a market where there is DEMAND for a product.
Windows is more of a bundle of programs rather than just an OS, and its expensive enough too... Also I couldnt care less what real network thinks about it, if they made a DECENT app then maybe people would buy it, wait a min, no they wouldnt! theres better, a LOT better free apps than that pos.

Good idea... they could sell Web browsers... oh wait... Media players... ermmm... maybe not.... DRM - there's a possibility...
Any time a small innovative company thinks up something useful they can charge for, Microsoft will release a "free" version till the small company goes bust, or they'll buy it up with their pocket-change. Then MS will add another $20 to the next release of SuperXP2008Pro (Built For Security - SR5), cos of all the Value Added Features it's now got.
Hey, if you're the biggest fish in the pond, then it's your RIGHT to eat all the smaller fish till there's none left...
The Microsoft argument that "if there's any other software at all out there that ain't ours means we ain't a monopoly", sounds surprisingly similar to Standard Oils argument back in the 30's (?), but now the judiciary are much more in thrall to big coporations than they were then.

Oooooooooooh... who turned my "rant mode" on?
