I wouldn't bother.
We took ours back and got a refund. They're a nice idea, but in practice pretty much useless.

Vroomy
huh?
Maybe he has just got in after a heavy night out![]()
I think this is viral marketing so we all Google 'paintpods'![]()
To clarify: they are a machine that you put special paint into that auto feeds a roller, making it very quick to paint a room. Apparently.
You are limited to the paint you can have and unless you are doing a whole room, or even several rooms, it seems like a lot of work and a great waste of paint.

Cheers Funkstar!
Don't see the point really lol Much cheaper to just use the long pole or short one really.
We had one of the very first ones that they brought out years ago, it was absolutley useless, we threw it in the bin some years later, biggest waste of money, ever.
Not wishing to sound rude but it looks a waste of money before even buying it. Did you ever buy stuff from K-Tel like the bobble-o-matic fluff remover or the handy tweed picnic throw rug?
It would explain a lot.
Looks a lot like my Vile-O-Matic Sandwich Ironer.
I didn't know what it was at first either so i googled it.
A lot of people seem to be unhappy at the product. Dulux obviously didn't test it well enough, because i doubt they'd risk their reputation on a gimmick.
Oh and the self clean thing on them never works. Had one YEARS ago. Rubbish, and the paint was like twice the price of a can.
Yet that is what they have done.
You never see tradesmen using things like this. Same goes for those foam pads that, if you believe the advertising, are better than normal brushes and rollers.
If these things really could save you time and still gove you a good result, these guys would use them. Something that does work, which you see on the US and Canadian home build shows, is paint sprayers. They are incredibly fast, but not very easy to use or maintain. I bet they use them in new build housing developments, where all they need is 30,000 litres of magnolia![]()
