brylcreem is very good but you would be better off using a wax rarther than a gel.
Someone left a note on a piece of cake in the fridge that said, "Do not eat!". I ate the cake and left a note saying, "Yuck, who the hell eats paper ?
Vo5 rework putty is good. You see "FHM award" stuck on the pot.
It's not a gel. It lasts all day and you can re do you hair if it goes bad. Well, unless you are somewhere very hot. Then it just goes wrong.
But if you really want a gel you need an extemely hard gel. I think Vo5 did that as well. I cannot remember the exact one. Mega hold or extreme or something.
Warning though, it's like bloody glue. The only thing that gets that out your hair is water.![]()
Not after some death defying gel, something with a good hold and a wet look. Never really got on with wax.
L'oreal Studio Line Special FX Remix Fibre Paste.
Nuff said.
oops i did the wrong link, you need the wet lookhttp://www.brylcreem.com/brylcreem-r...-look-gel.html
been using there range for years and its good stuff.
does not last a 4 hour trip at motorway speeds with the windows down buffeting the old mop though.. then again not much would.
This is the strongest stuff I've ever used, and it leaves your hair smelling fruity![]()
OMG!!!!
There will be a thread on hairspray brands or Tena Lady next.

L'oreal studio FX Radical Gel (with texturising fibre glue). It's available at Boots and Superdrug
"Apply a dollop of gel to the palms and use a clapping motion to create fibres. Then apply to the roots of the hair and pull out to the tips.
For an ultra slick back style smooth the hair with the palms of the hands. "
