How to Edit your Predictive Text Dictionary (T9) on a Nokia phone

I've put this in General Discussion cos I think it might help a lot of people who might not visit the Mobile Phone forum.

I've had a series of Nokia phone's and for some reason some of them just will NOT remember a word when I spell it. I end up having to spell certain words over and over again.

And in some cases, i spell something WRONG and it remembers it!

Right.. here's how to fix it.

Start a new text message, and type the word. Once it's done but is spelled wrongly, push the PENCIL button on the side of your phone, choose the Predictive Text option, and you can see the list of MATCHING words, or EDIT the word that was on the screen OR Insert a Word into the dictionary.

You can all send me my bottle of vino later with your deepest thanks

    Cheers Matty..

I always wondered how to change I,ve to I've as it's been pee-ing me off since I got a bit tipsy and put it in wrong.

Anyway, anyone with a N95 should just update their firmware as this clears all the errors and starts a fresh install once completed
