    Ebay

I have seen a few things on Ebay that I would like to buy, I also have a few items I want to sell.

My question is, is have any of you had any bad experiences either selling or buying from Ebay? I'm a bit of a coward when it comes to auction sites but I'm almost willing to try it.

Only problem I have had (around 100 transactions) was some **#~~;@@ sent me a copied game rather than an original. I should have been more carefull as he had bugger all feedback. Selling, no problems at all. One tip if selling get a UK postage price before putting the auction on, the royal mail website has a postage calculator (if you can weigh your item), most people prefer postage charges to be upfront. I also use paypal a lot, makes thing easy and they have introduced some form of gtee for the UK now, but read the small print. Paypal can take a while to setup so do it before you need it, also if selling there are costs involved, but on teh + side you should get more on ebay than most other places.

Buy from people with lots of feedback. They will not con you out of 100 quid, since one negative feedback on their reputation costs them more than 100 quid. IN short, it wouldnt be in their interest to screw you - so dont worry.
