Ahh, how refreshing to find someone else with the same view - I don't think I "get" the BeatlesNone of them, they all suck-ass

What I don't understand as far as The Beatles are concerned, is when someone doesn't like them, then don't like them with passion.
I don't really get that. They were a band that pushed the boundaries of music recording, they have been incredibly influential ever since and have lasting appeal through the generations. This can't be argues.
Now, someone might not like them, and that is perfectly acceptable. I don't like The Smiths, and millions think they are amazing. So lets not get carried away with this chaps
My vote? Revolver, if only for Elenor Rigby. Although I really like Magical Mystery Tour (just to be controversial).
Not just a band - an era. Like or loathe the music - it was of its time - and is iconic for that reason. There were other bands of the time whose music might arguably have been 'better' - however you define better - but their music encapsulates that 60's - and the Lennon/McCartney partnership has been covered by many other bands (albeit with varying degrees of success)
For me - probably Abbey Road - although not necessarily because it is the best.
