i love aberystwyth, spent many a good summer there. I have friends and family just down the bay in cardigan, and my cousin/ex bf went to uni in aber. Lost a couple of shoes in peir pressure and spent the odd romantic moment in the castle ruins :p and then there's the triple vodkas in the lord beechings :D
I can't wait to go back and see all the sights again.
Should be a great laugh.
Heh perhaps we should have a hexus seaside outing somewhere
My mum & dad met at aber uni back in the 70's.... 27 years and a sprog later they're still together :) must be pretty cool place! hehe
im going to Camathan bay thursday, asked gf if we should pop down to see you.. maybe another time eh mate :P

u went to cardigan county school? my cousins went there and so did a couple of my mates
Na I went to New Castle Emlyn Secondary School (Ysgol Gyfun Emlyn*) , then to Haverford-West (Pembrokeshire) College and then to Cardigan College (Coleg Ceridigion*) lived in the area from the age of 7 to 21, in a tiny village called Penrhiw-Pal near Rhydlewis.
New Castle Emlyn is only about 7 miles from Cardigan.
I also worked in the Tesco's in the Wines & Spirits bit in Cardigan for a while.
*For all thoese peeps wonder what the hell the stuff in brackets it's the Welsh names ;).
yeah i've been to NCE a few times - the chipshop does a mean fish and chips :D
Yeah you got me looking on the net for the place, and I found this :

heh, I didn't know him that well but he seemed a nice enough chap. I will be going up on campus to see some friends so if i see him i'll give him a wave.
and i remember his shirts in lectures :)
not as bad as the bloke who used a permanent marker to make his labcoat patterned like a cow or the drippy hippy who tie dyed his/hers (always a bit of confusion over that one)

I know I shouldn't laugh but Russ's post did make me giggle for some reason... I like the idea of a fictional town with a fictional website :D
I'm at uni in Aber... Can't wait to go back in september (on a year out at the moment.)
I love the place so much... it's brilliant... and i do miss the triple vodkas in beechings and the cocktails in the cambrian.
Going to miss it when i have to move away.
