Ow....
I just had a tooth removed and it wasn't fun :(
hehehe before i had my braces put on i hd one removed... because of the way it was it was half in the roof of my mouth.... twas painfull
Wisdom Tooth??? If you have them removed you certainly know about it!! Look like your chewin a brick also :D :p
this wasn't a wisdom one, it was a premolar with a wacking greta big 'ole in it :)
As someone who has just about every dental procedure, you have my sympathy.
The crunching noises that vibrate through your head as it's ripped out are the worse bit :(
OMG gonna vom.
m@
unlucky :( just been to the dentist, my teeth are a-ok :) saves any unecessary pain/discomfort :)
another thing that a bad evil dentist did to me ... you know how the put some numbing stuff in the back muscle bit of you jaw?? well he put the needle in and then started to talk to a nurse... and DIDNT PUSH ANY NUMBING STUFF IN!!! so for about a miniute every time my jaw slightly moved it was total PAIN!
well i had 2 out last week
and im having another 2 out next week
so feel sorry for me :p
talking of pain, i just got my ears syringed! Now that hurt!
ew...!
i had my wisdom teeth out, but under general anaesthetic...they were by the bed when i woke up though. looking at me...
Had my ears done a year ago and it didn't hurt a bit... the volume of noise cycling home afterwards mind.....
I've had that done and it didn't hurt that much- but the needle they put in me did!!
Having another one out on the 19th :(
my gf wants to be a dentist, im gonna hav to sleep with a mussle (sp?) cos she'd quite happily attack me in my sleep
when i go to the dentist and have to have teeth removed, i insist on being allowed to pull it out meself with the pliers. makes it more fun :P
i'm 18 now and have never had any fillings, crowns etc.. i look after my teeth and the only ones that have had be pulled are ones that shouldn't have been there. i thank thee Colgate :D
peace.
Had all 4 wisdom teeth removed inder general anesthetic, that was not very much fun I can tell you. Looked like I had been beaten with a baseball bat after wards, felt like it has well :(
Sunday dinner through a liquidizer is nice though :)
In about 4 months I've gotta make a choice of either having braces or having a tooth out under local anaesthetic... I think I'm gonna go for the latter.
never had liquidized food, thankfully, though yes I felt very much like a hamster after wis. teeth removed. best thing though after waking up was that doctors gave me even more morphine...so there I was swimming around in my head for a good two hours after the op.
go private, you get plied with more drugs and the nurses tend to be fitter too :)
You could always wear a Gimp mask  :DQuote:

I didn't say owt to him when I got up, just walked out pale as a ghost. :(
I went to the dentists a couple of weeks ago - completely fine! He even said I have a nice set of teeth :> The only thing I don't like about the dentist, however, is the fact that he'll put the mirror thing in my mouth, then turn and have a conversation with the nurse. The mirror, ever so slowly, proceeds to the back of my throat whilst he's looking away, and he only realises when I start making gagging noises.
I'm in stage 2 of a self-circ at the moment, and it's quite painful with no anaesthesia.
um, self-circ? stage 2? whats that?
self Circ...umcision? removal of the two-skin?
oh and i read an interesting thing about fillings recently. the metal ones use mercury - which personally i'm not too keen on but got one anyway (grrr...) but if you chew a lot of gum it can be leeched out of the filling and become ingested by you...nice huh kids? so, take it easy with the chewing!...nice of them to make that one public eh...
Yep, but I won't be allowed discuss it here. I'll possibly post a report on Elmos bodymods board when it's finished healing. I have a project log on another messageboard, but I shan't link to it, due to the content. :)
*thinks: maybe i shouldnt be listening to Disturbed at near full blast.... * hmmm *turns it up*
Well, its gonna happen anyway! :)
PM it then, if its that bad...
Whilst we're talking about teeth, only one of my wisdom teeth has come through although not completely. That was when I was 18, Im now 20 and the other 3 havent come through yet. Are they just slow coming through? I havent experienced any pain as yet (touch wood)
well I got three of em thru.. the last one is taking it's sweet time tho  me gums keep growing back over the top of it and then popping... most unpleasant.. but it give's me something to chew on if I'm bored...
My wisdoms started coming through when I was 16... which is quite early, I suppose. All of them are fully grown, now, and I've never had any problems with pain/discomfort/one of them growing through my tongue, or anything. Which is nice, I suppose..
I've only got 2 wisdom teeth (other 2 never grew) and they're already through at 17yrs 3 months. Never had any pain so i'm lucky :D
Ben
