darn right about it being hard work! the race is the same length as the oxford+cambridge race, in fact its in exactly the same place only run the opposite direction...so thats 4.25 miles or 7km in real money. its a long way on your own!

READING UNI!! ppttaa [spits out in disgust!] I'm at ULBC...
I was in one of the crews a few weeks ago that did the 8's head even when it got cancelled, did alright though i'll see if I can find a picture, at the time it was taken we're over-hauling london rc, looks quite cool.

Aha, I spy one crazy long haired mofo at 2 in the ULBC 2nd VIII Bigbalde have some pics, they should have been taking more photos of Torpids though.

If you're on the water next week keep an eye out for some lost oxford uni students borrowing Thames RC's stuff (empachers, mmm) and getting back on the water after a month of easter hols!

I'm away for a week over easter - going mountain biking down in devon/somerset so, weather permitting, should be an excellent time.
enjoy the 'pachers. yeah thats me at 2... hehe! was in Goblets at henley couple of years back too, kind of a shame i didn't carry on during msc but there you go. had last summer off due to my MSc but now back into it and having lots of fun. would have been out at ghent this w/e but costs too much to get down there 'cause of easter...oh well.
