maybe it was.. maybe it wasn't... yet the facts remain the same.. I didnt initiate the call, I hadnt requested anything that required my password.. someone I don't know asks for my password.. and I'm supposed to give it? Yeah right.. me thinks not. :)

1471 = no number available.. which was to be expected tbh and not an indication of crookedness in iteslef.

By the way.. if you do use the same password for a variety of situations.. then be wise and don't. Contain the potential risk to one area at a time.

I have about 3 companies that ring me and ask for my passwords, I've never thought of this though...

They should ask you certain letters/digits of your password, then they can't get the whole thing. But I often wonder why they ask for your password when they call you, seems rather strange.
