Fave: North Coast of NSW. Somewhere around Coffs harbour perhaps, with a Queenslander near the beach and fibre to the door. Oh, and a fettled bonneville, and a sodding great barbecue.

Sheffield / South Yorkshire:

+ Many large towns within 1 hours travel: Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester, Bradford, Nottingham, Derby (also Doncaster, Wakefield and many other middle sizes towns)
+ Peak District within 20 minutes
+ Sheffield is a blooming city at the moment, with 2 major universities.
+ Travel to any part of the country within 3/4 hours

Living in London, I do love the convinience of having everything and anything at your door step, but sometimes its a little too much and I crave for somewhere a little quieter - Devon springs to mind.

I live in London...I have not been about much, so I can't really say at the moment! I guess somewhere a lot more quieter, and greener. But not too far away from things.

Hmmm.... I'm in a Crown Dependancy If I absolutely HAD to live somewhere across the water, it'd be the Lake District or Devon, can't decide which. Probably the Lakes tbh

I'm quite proud of Buckinghamshire... I like most of it, and love some of it and detest very little of it

Milton Keynes, for example, is nice enough now. And around it's borders are some great villages, food growers, producers etc (as you see... food is important in my house)

Roundabouts are easy once you stop panicing about them and listen - there's a logic! And I love just being in the middle of everywhere in the middle of nowhere.

At last someone else feels the same way i do about MK Lived in MK, just in Buckinghamshire, for almost 30 years, have seen many many changes in those years (some good, some bad) but i still love it here. I can fish all day without seeing anyone, yet still be home in 5-10 mins. I can cycle without using the roads. If i need to get anywhere its so easy with good(ish) rail links, or get a coach. And best of all, its not that **** hole called London

If i wasn't living in MK then i'd love to live in Cornwall, always loved going down there for holidays and just would be perfect for me.
