Flickr Pro: Do you use it?

Anyone here using Flickr Pro? The problem is I've found the 'Gallery' software to be rather weak and uploading to Flickr via the Mac app is such a breeze. I guess I'll get the pro account shortly, although I would prefer a more advanced gallery software for my blog - do you know of any?

I'm in the same boat. The gallery software is good. However it hasn't moved with the times. There are now easier better options out there.

meh, i use flickr pro, because it was easy and familiar to use when i was out in the states to upload the photos i was taking...

Using Flikr Pro because I had a whole bunch of photo's to upload after the summer holidays and I couldn't be bothered to wait around and upload them in parts.

I do like it though and it is pretty simple to use

Looking forward to LR3, supposed to either have built in support for Facebook and Picasa or at least make plugins much easier to write for it.

Could you elaborate on what you mean by advanced gallery?
What can't you currently do that you want to do?

Currently I have 35 GB of photos on my laptop. I am quite happy to pay my $25 a year to know that I have a copy of every photo on Flickr.

I don't use it to publish my photos, rather more a crude backup for everything on here.

I do, mainly for the upload and storage limits. The flickr uploadr software is pretty robust if you ask me, but it is outpaced even by facebook

Just got my pro account last week. The problem with Facebook, for me at least, is that my Aunt all the way in Canada down to some random bloke who I really don't remember in high school has me in their account.

At times it feels rather odd to post 'everything' on Faceache for this reason, and like to keep things separate at times.

definitely, a lot of things on my flickr never get as far as fb (faceache )
