    shafted by overclockers.co.uk

Ordered some equipment from Overclockers.co.uk as I could get a silver DVD to match my silver case.

Overclockers supplied a cream coloured unit even through it stated silver on the invoice and on the website.

Have emailed them but all emails have been ignored.

As a first time customer, I am not impressed with the customer service.

What can i do about it? (Paid by switch)

Call them up. Say that you have spoken to trading standards. If they call your bluff then do actually call trading standards. You have been properley ripped off mate They havnt a leg to stand on as it clerly says silver on your invoice.

And don't post these kind of posts on their forums because they ban people for that....sad eh? Anyway, it's Eastern so they are probably just in a shortage of people, try calling them!

I wouldn't go as far to say you have been shafted by them. You have merely been given a product that is incorrect to what you ordered...so therefore they should either swap it for the correct one or give you a refund

Telephone is always the best way, emails are weak for this sort of thing.

Call them, trying to get them over e-mail is a no no.

Take it from there. There is no need to phone trading standards (yet) over what could be a simple mistake.
However, make sure they pay return postage to them as it is their fault.

Getting hold of them by phone is fun, took me 8 mins on hold to get through. But the guy I spoke to seemed ok and sorted my problem.

Their email support is a joke though.

That's odd, didn't Spie claim to be making changes and that ALL emails would be replied to within 4 hours? Then again, this is the same company that turned down two and a half grand's worth of business because they didn't want to reduce the price a little (MicroDirect undercut them £80).

Lets not let this turn in to an OcUK bash - if you wish to rate any retailer you know where the system is.
