Managed to get 25100 after about 20 minutes. Best advice is to get in position and stay still when kicking. I couldn't hit anything if I was still moving during the kick.

The best time to kick seems to be with the ball just off the ground, as it seems to just roll along the ground if you kick it while actually touching the ground. Having said that, I have managed to roll the ball along the ground to score a few time, once with the ball going right between the goalies feet
I also managed to score once with a deflection off the bloke on the right.
