    Cool knackered...

    you all know what it's like - trying to trim those extra pounds before summer starts to kick off...
    Then you all know the true definition of pain - cycling along a rough road, with a bicycle seat which gets harder by the mile! Second day in a row, and it pains me to sit down... and am seriously regretting not going jogging instead!!

    Anyone know any better than I do, of exactly how long it takes for your bum to get used to these rough roads again?

    Am going to sit on a bag of ice for a little while me thinks!

    lower your rear tyre pressure a tad - will help. or ride along a non-rough road. i do a LOT of riding and dont ever get saddlesore these days..

    but then you ride on roads and get knackered really quick......

    try swimming, works every muscle in the body and doesnt cause as much stress or strain, and you cant break ur arm if you fall off!

    ive never broken my arm riding. snapped my colarbone socket (ie chestplate), a tooth, a rib or 2, smashed my face in with a windscreen, gotten knocked out and concussed and cut myself a million times, but never broken my arm...
