Ideas on how to cover a table...

    Hi all,

I've just recently put up a table in my room, and put my decks on it... however.. it looks a bit bland and boring... You can also see underneath it.

What can I do, make, use to jazz it up a bit.... without ruining the desk?

It's also got to have zero vibrations as my turntables are on them.

I'll get some pics up if it will help?

you know it wouldn't surprise me, not only did the have The Rasumus, they also had Bowling for Soup, a band they slate all the time, in their Ultimate Record Collection feature! Two faced, lightweights - they're like NME, everything is the new or best ever. meh, straying OT now.

What about going to some material selling place and buying some crushed black and purple velvet

I like the idea of graffiti.... but don't know anyone to do it.... that lives local and has the time to do it. I certainly wouldn't be able to do it myself!

I'm liking the vinyl sleeves idea... just what would I store the vinyl in tho? Where can I get the perspex/glass from?

A table cloth.... I'm not gonna be eating my dinner on it!

    Anymore ideas?

best idea is to look at existing stuff on the net and knock up some designs from that, www.ukgraffiti.com is a good place to have a butchers. if not, PM me and i'll see if i can knock you up a few designs. then all you gotto do is sketch em on with pencil and use paintmarkers or old WarHammer paint (admit it, we were all sad enuff to play it) to paint it in.
    peace

I wouldnt be able to draw on the table... it's polished and varnished...

The glass table sounds a good bet.... but its just sourcing the plastic....
