    Needed: SST 49LF004A

    Please can you all have a hunt on old motherboards or anything to find out if you have one of these spare - Shuttle are the main brand whom use them.

    I will look after you for one If anyone can find somewhere to buy one it would rock

    looks liek Albatron also use very similar chips at the very least, my board uses SST 49LF003A's

    bios chip... does it have to be the exact right chip, or just the right package and size/type?
    If it needs to be exact that would explain why my latest hotflashing attempt failed to fix a ecs k7s5a
    Assuming its a PLCC I might have one, from an nf7-s r1.1, Ill check the codes tomorrow...
