My word.
That's fascinating.
Thanks for that! An excellent read
saw this in question time, its now firmly planted in my favourites, brilliant read :)
something i'd love to do but can't :(
Great use of words.
"the silence is deafening" and so forth.
Shame about the actual story behind it though. Glowing trees? Jeez!
Alright, alright - who here actually read the whole article - and who just looked at the pictures?
I think the worst bit about it has gotta be how the government never told the fire crews what they were dealing with, those guys wandered in to their deaths :(Quote:

Just read the whole thing.
Possibly one of the most interesting things I have ever read - fascinating.
Anyone else really hyped up about S.T.A.L.K.E.R now?
Something that I'm extreemly interested in is the Chenobyl disaster, ever since seeing a video on it in Secondary school. I've read alot about it although not come across this before - it is truly an amazing read and some briliant photos. I would love to see it although going there even though she showed safe readings for small exposure times its still very dangerous. Also I think that was taken over several trips ;)
That girl has alot of guts and would love to see what its really like. Galant - yes I read the whole thing ;)
surprisingy good read
would like to see some pictures of the glowing trees tho ;)
Shes a bit of a legend among the bikers and on the Biking sites. It's without a doubt one of the best accounts of Chernobyl you can read.
that is sad....
i found the last few pages the sadest....
I just read the whole thing, after the first 8 or so pages there is hardly any reading to be done. Pretty inspired by it all, its amazing what people are capable of doing. Although she states its because of the biking she can get on these roads, to me that appeared to be MUCH MUCH more than that.

this is the thread from question time
I have read the whole site a while back. The pictures communicate what words cannot.
Read this site from start to finish...an amazing story and some of the photo's are mind-blowing. This is what the Internet should be for.
sorry it's a re-post.... I don't go in Question Time... bit of a Dr. Jeykll/ Mr. Hyde thing..... but glad it's been appreciated :)
No no mate the more people who see this site the better :)
If you have the time then it really is worth reading the whole of the site.
Apparently her dad is something to do with government/scientist etc, so she could get access to certain places via his gov pass.Quote:
