Gamertag - Russonf (xbox and ps3)
6820 looks quite tastey - flip out keypad is nice and unusual..
or that chunkyish nokia one - its got loads of pda functions.. i've a few mates who arent happy with the 610s..

thanks for that 5lab mate, i love my v200 cos its so reliable, but if the 610 isn't at times, not the phone for me
Gamertag - Russonf (xbox and ps3)
O2 XDA2Such a sweet phone.
I'm suprised the Z600 isn't on that list, the T610s are alright phones but I've heard the screen isn't very good.
I'd choose the V600. Samsung aren't allways very reliable.
G4 PowerMac - Tiger 10.4 - 512MB RAM
MacBook - 2Ghz - 1GB RAM - 120GB HDD
Rotel RC970BX | DBX DriveRack |2x Rotel RB850
B&W DM640i | Velodyne 1512
T610 for the minigolf game alone - or go for a T630 for the better screen
oh yeah, you can terrorise people with Bluetooth, so that's a must in any new phone![]()
Dont get the T610, i've had this phone since july last year. I love the features it has, but you just cant see the screen when outside, just to much reflection from the plastic cover.Oh well its almost time to upgrade again

edit: i'm in the same position, i can upgrade mine on o2 too, but i just cant find a fone that i like. I dont like "squishy" buttons which seems to be the main problem.

I'm waiting for this one before I upgrade my 7650. Nokia 7610
Look at the SonyEricsson range then, I now have the T610 but most of my other SE Phones have had hard buttons (unlike Nokias which are made of rubber)Originally Posted by Elmo

Personally, I'd stick with Nokia.
Other manufactuars put all the bells and whistles on their phones and are starting to close the gap with Nokia in terms of looks, but they still can't touch Nokia when it comes to the UI.
I've tried and owned phones from all of the big players - Motorola, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, etc. and none of them have close to how fast, responsive and easy it is to use a Nokia. On my old (and now thankfully binned) Sony Ericcson T68i it took about a billion button presses just to send a text message. With my current Nokia, I'm into "create a text message" in one press of a button.
On the T68i you hold the joystick to the left for a second and you're into create new message! On the T610 just one nudge to the left does the trick.Originally Posted by Aaron

I used to think Nokia were the business until the T68 came out. It was a milestone in terms of UI (colour screen, icons, joystick) - lightyears ahead of any Nokia phone. Nokia were still producing dated monochrome displays. It's taken them a couple of years to get the message but Sony Ericsson have given them a right good kick up the butt. I think Nokia still suffer from the fact that they have too many model numbers.
Somehow SE seems to have the "cool" factor that Nokias don't quite have...
I've got a T610 at the moment and I'm very happy with it. I can see what people are saying about not being able to see the screen in direct sunlight but I can live with that - the rest of the phone is fantastic (apart from the camera which is a waste of space!).
Just my opinion.
cheers,
dave

Does everything the 6600 does but in a much better package, I have a 6600 and whilst I love the features I don't like the bulkiness of it, am going to take out another contract in june to run alongside my exisitng one to get a 6230 partially cos I took an offer out for free text for 6 months and when that ends I will still want to text like a biatch and I so can't afford that lol
