Explain your Avatar. (why did you choose this photo)

Here on the Internet we can't see what each other looks like. We could add our own photo to the avatar but this carries a risk... so instead we choose a small picture 90x90 to represent ourselves.

i don't know if this has been done before of if anyone is interested. but i see so many avatars and usually in my own head i tend to form an opinion of that person! I still do this, if there is no Avatar but it's easier to form this opinion if they have an Avatar!! Especially if the Avatar remains constant. The reason for this is because it's easier to remember a post (and more importantly who made that post) if you link the post (in your head) to a persons Avatar.

So i would like a thread where people write a short line or two, to say why they chose their Avatar and what it says about You? and also if people can form opinions about someone based purely on the picture? Maybe you have over 500 post and don't want an avatar? why not?

New members are not allowed an avatar until you hit 500 posts i believe. But you are welcome to join the discussion and maybe link a picture you would use and explain, what this says about you.

I will start, I have Just changed my avatar to "Cheburashka" a Russian animation. because i am learning Russian at the moment, and i love the Animation, and the characters in it. Nothing deeper than that.

Call's mine into question. My name Grey M@a (Grey Matter) is the reason behind the brain in the first place, as to why it's blue. I have no idea. I originally did this in blue and then produced this in 0's and 1's for an ascii desktop in greyscale. Before that I had a picture of Dimebag from Pantera for the last few years.

With regards to my sig however, PMC are a company that make high end speakers. I'm lucky enough to use a set at work and they've been an absolute revelation. Can't recommend them enough to people who want absolutely no compromises when it comes to accurate monitoring of sound.

Mine is of a Russian Tsar (Nicholas II). I picked "ghee tsar" many years ago as a play on words that I though was funny at the time. It's stuck as I never have to worry about that user name being already being taken!
