Pre-amble/excuse: I've only built three 1/144 scale HG kits before so this 1/60 PG is a plunge into the deep end! This is a progress build log of my first attempt at a Perfect Grade level kit. Essentially I have skipped a grade level as inbetween High Grade (beginner stuff) and Perfect Grade (expert) is Master Grade (advanced).
For those who do or do not know, the 1/60 Scale Perfect Grade Gundam 00 with the 0 Raiser was released the tail end of November (I think) 2009. In that pack was a voucher to purchase the clear armour set too. As this is part of the intial batch, you also get an "original" stand, allowing you to pose the completed Gundam 00 and 0 Raiser separately or when combined as the 00 Raiser.
In other words, I a) spent a load of money and b) had to wait patiently for it all.
Eventually it all arrived and I was rather surprised at the size of the boxes. I'm used to seeing 1/60 scale Perfect Grade boxes but this one is particularly bulky.
This is the main box (inside of which are three further boxes; Box A for Gundam 00, Box B for 0 Raiser and a third box for the GN Drives). For scale I added in my 1/144 scale High Grade Gundam Throne Drei box and of course, the Gundam too.

The box for the Original Stand is bigger than the 1/144 scale kit box.
Clear armour part box which is quite large too.
I'll scan the booklet in later on. You get a information type booklet and a build manual. There is also a build manual with the clear armour set too.

Busting out the sprues I made a start! A nervous one at that.
Huzzah! Eventually I made part of an ankle held by the ever so gracious Vincent (about the same size as Gundam Throne Drei).
After some time working out what I wanted to use the Clear Armour Parts and what to keep as solid, I progressed to finishing one foot! For scale, I have used Gundam Throne Drei (remember, she is 1/144 scale).
It's quite a flexible foot too.
That's it for tonight. I am in no rush in building this kit; it is a joy to take my time, clean the edges, piece it together and then take some silly pictures.
