New Predator Movie 'Predators'

I've just completed an online survey which showed a trailer for 'Predators' starring Laurence Fishburne & a couple of other famous faces (can't remember who)

Shows a bunch of people (seem to be 'hard nuts') dumped on a planet setup as a game-reserve & being stalked by seemingly LOTS of Predators, looks ace & plenty of action.

I've Googled the title but not much pops up apart from a sparse IMDB page.

Anyway has anyone heard more on this film? Looks like a winner to me (in so much as the trailer showed!)

There's about 6 people I think, different types eg the killer, the gun nut, the woman, the sniper, even a Yakuza! Lots of big guns too, I'd imagine they help

I am still worried. I remember AVP2 trailers looking very promising, but when it came out (And not because it was scary). Well, I tend to tell people to 'wait and see' whenever they are worried (usually in the case of remakes), so I guess I'll take my own advice

There's loads out there on it, Aint It Cool News had a nice article a few weeks back where one of the cast posted loads of pics on Facebook from the set (with a proper Stan Winston Predator in the background which was good news).

Look at the AICN article, and it's comments, and you'll find links to other forums that have a lot more info on it, plus there are leaked scripts but I won't post any spoilers.

This and Iron Man 2 are the films I'm looking forward to this year (The Lovely Bones stank big style, nothing like the excellant book )

I've got high hopes for this, but you know what will happen. They'll end up diluting the story, action and general scariness down so they can release it as a 15 and get access to all that pocket money thats floating around.

I just read the script. It's very much in the lines of the first film which is nice, however I'm not sure I'm too keen on the baddy in this one. The alternate ending also appeals, however I doubt it'll happen.

This movie will be 100% win if and only if they do not go for the R-rating (or whatever it is that is equivalent to our 12A rating) like the AvP atrocities.

Movie ratings and censorship in general but especially by mysterious and unaccountable private bodies; that's another pet hate of mine. "This Film is Not Yet Rated " made me seethe
