Im switching to monthly contract with either t-mobile or Orange, but I'm stuck on which phone to get.
Sony Ericsson T630
Samsung E700

I'm gonna get the e700, it's a really good likkle phone.
What do you want to use it for? The Sony has far better sync features, better handling of different gprs/csd accounts, bluetooth, is easier to set up as a modem and more third-party software availlable. The Samsung looks better and has a slightly better screen and camera. Owned both myself, sold both on as I love my P900.
ive got the e700 - super little phone - with a lummin good display and a nice 640x480 camera!!! If you take alot of photos as i do when i go out, battery doesnt last more than a few days
ony problem is as with all samsing phones - gay japaneese megadrive NES type sounding ringtomes that are so shaming you end up leaving it on vibrate.
Butuz
i said e700 as the t630 has icky buttons compared to the t610
look out for the e710... got a light for the camera
T630 is slow and unresponsive. You can press a button, go make a cup of tea and come back before it's responded. I don't like the whole joystick idea with Ericsson phones either.
The E700 is a very nice phone is comparison.
E700 is nice, But I would personally wait till mid May, Orange have the Nokia 6230 coming out, by far the best choice for useability.

Wait for the 6230 as m@ttz suggested![]()

i cant afford the latest phones, so it looks like the E700 it is then.
thing is the longer you wait there's always the next best thing out the next month...why wait, the upgrades are not that significant. I have a t610 [almost a year now] and there's still not a great deal of improvement over it at present...give it a year and then I'll say different when vid-phones are everywhere.

what sorta price will the 6230 be u reckon, on contract that is?
Gamertag - Russonf (xbox and ps3)
They are both excellent phones, i like them both.
But i would give the vite to SE - so many features.
Aaron - i dont know if your basing your statement on them being slow on past phones (which i totaly agree with. Even though the t68/i was good, it was sloowww) or the current ones, but i strongly disagree - the t630 is not slow.
