I died of shock from reading the tragic e-mail he sent... that'd make him feel guilty.

I strung one along for 6 weeks using a fictious name on a webmail based e mail account. Even got him to send a scanned image of his (stolen/faked) passport. Great fun during a period of enforced boredom!

Haha yeah I did it once and got some fake picture of him and his wife. Then I asked for his passport so he got an "EXAMPLE" passport picture off the net and cut and paste his head from the first picture onto it, even showed it to my parents.

    Re: Tear-jerking spam

It sort of reminds me of this version of a well-loved classic:

I am a very sick little boy. My mother is typing this for me, because I can't. She is crying. Don't cry, Mommy! Mommy is always sad, but she says it's not my fault. I asked her if it was God's fault, but she didn't answer, and only started crying harder, so I don't ask her that anymore. The reason she is so sad is that I'm so sick. I was born without a body. It doesn't hurt, except when I go to sleep.

The doctors gave me an artificial body. My body is a burlap bag filled with leaves. The doctors said that was the best they could do on account of us havin' no money or insurance. I would like to have a body transplant, but we need more money. Mommy doesn't work because she said employers don't hire crying people. I said, "Don't cry, Mommy," and she hugged my burlap body. Mommy always gives me hugs, even though she's allergic to burlap, and it chafes her real bad.

I hope you will help me. You can help me if you forward this e-mail. Dr. Johansen said if you forward this e-mail then Bill Gates will team up with AOL and do a survey with NASA. Then the astronauts will collect prayers from school children all over America and take them up to space so that the angels can hear them better. Then they will go to the Pope, and he will take up a collection in church and send the money to the doctors. The doctors could help me better then.

Maybe one day I will be able to play baseball. Or maybe just use my lungs and heart, when the doctors make them. The doctors said that every time you forward this letter, the astronauts can take another prayer to the angels. Please help me. Mommy is so sad, and I want a body. I don't want my leaves to rot before I turn 10.

If you don't forward this e-mail, that's OK. Mommy says you're a mean heartless person who doesn't care about a poor little boy with only a head. She says that she hopes that you stew in the raw pit of your own guilt-ridden stomach. What kind of wretched person are you that you can't take five lousy minutes to forward this to all your friends so that they can feel guilt and shame for the rest of their day, and then maybe help a poor, bodiless nine-year-old boy?

Please help me. This really sucks. I try to be happy but it's hard. I wish I had a puppy. I wish I could hold a puppy.

    Thank You.
    Billy 'Smiles' Evans,
The boy with just a head.
And a burlap sack for a body.

There's a better version where the cat uses his body as a litter tray, but I couldn't find it.

    Ebenezer,

your attitude is less than understanding, given the fact that your nation is renowned for scams and rip off merchants I would have thought you would be much more accomodating. I have asked for one simple thing to be done, yet this has proven to be a constant problem.

The phone number you have given does not connect, therefore I am simply saying you either have given me an incorrect number, or a false one. If you wish to jump to conclusions, that is your perogative.

    In regards to apologies...

Unless you can prove you are genuine, I will cease all further contact and suggest you take your business and your attitude elsewhere, I will also see to it that you are banned from the forum, through which you got my details, as I currently consider you a security threat.

    regards

    Dear Ebenezer,

A passport photo is not good enough.

For me to enter into a transaction with you, I MUST have a picture of you, stood with a sign, with your name on it, as a passport photo could be sourced from anywhere.

In regards to the scepticism, may I remind you who approached who? May I also remind you, that you're asking for MY bank account details, these are more valuable than any amount of monies you could possibly send.

I also tried your phone number(s), it/they didn't work. After having them checked, it appears they're not even valid numbers.

    I await your reply.

    regards

Sir,let me tell that im sincere with this transaction and i think i should be the one that should be skeptical about this issue since i will be sending in my own money to the account informations you are bout to give but anyway i can understand your feelings.

    Loolking forward for your reply.

I am still not satisfied that you are genuine and until then, no account details will be given for you to pay me your monies.

For me to be satisfied that you are genuine, please take a picture of yourself, with a piece of paper, with the following handwritten :

    Hi Ebenezer,

can you please supply me your forum username and the name of the person that referred you.

the £13.50 price was a special, limited off, for UK only addresses.

for you to purchase a cable, the total price would be £25.99, due to postage costs.

if you wish to purchase one, please provide the above details, as well as a paypal email address and I will send an invoice.

    regards
