    Miscrosoft support

    Right got a microsoft sidewinder x6 and half the keys are not functioning fully, they are intermittant and require heavy presses in comparison to others so was gunna contact MS for a replacement, however i cant seem to find a suitabe contact address for them? One specifically america but i need the EU one, anyone know the email/phone number for this?

    Take it back to the shop you bought it from - in the UK the retailer is responsible for providing goods that are fit for purpose, not the manufacturer.

    wasnt bought from a shop you see , from ebay but the seller is refunding me and letting me keep the board. Hence why i was looking to get replaceent from MS or if not ill take the board apart as i see the problem already, membrane at back is out of allignment but requires the back to be taken off voiding warranty.

    Luckily Hicks I had the same issue finding a number to call. However call this:

    Microsoft Support for Hardware: 0870 601 0100

    That will get you through to their support, they will ask a few questions, ask for the hardware serial no and when you bought it and they generally 9 times out of 10 just send you a new bit of hardware as long as the broken bit of kit you have is within the warranty.

    right then, time to find out how old this keyboard is . I know its in warranty as MS give 3 years for this keyboard and it was released at the end of 2008 so another year or so .

    Yeah man, they hide that phone number on the website very well, took me an hours worth of digging then calling some other hardware support line who gave me that number xD

    They are spot on though Never once had an issue with em.
