    Re: Cheltenham

I've got a tip, keep away from my lovely town as the traffic and amount of drunken Irish people is enough to drive me insane. What's more, very few local people venture out during Race Week so it will be dead in the shop this week!

We all know the racing is rigged, don't waste your money

    Re: Cheltenham

The nearest you'll see me to a racecourse is if I go to Greenbelt this year, which seems unlikely at the minute Shame really - the Sandford Lido is probably the best swimming pool I've ever been in...

Ah come on, don't be such a cynic!

Although, it's quite unlikely that these sort of races are fixed. There is too much money on them, too much prize money at stake, and they are very heavily scrutinised not to mention that this is the most prestigious hunt festival in England. Far easier to rig a non event at Rippon then pick one at Cheltenham. You ain't gonna get Ronaldo accepting a bung to throw the champions league final, but you might get a league 2 player on £500 a week to 'not try' in a mid week match at Barnet.

1:30 Dunguib....... You heard it here first!
