No. It's something nice to go with dinner or a small tipple before bed (port makes me sleepy), but It's something I could live without. These "legal highs" on the other hand are worrying. Very little is actually known about them - compared to alcohol - and at least when you buy a pint, you are (or should be) aware that it's gone through a quality assurance program and it's not got any unnecessary nasties. Presumably these things aren't available in the shops so you're basically buying them from a dealer.
I don't see how they're even comparable to be honest.
