I've spent the last 2 years at uni as a mature (ehehehe) student doing a graduate diploma in nursing (I already posess a degree in biology).
Last week I interviewed for a job, and although I received confirmation by telephone on the day that I had been appointed today the offer letter finally came through!
I'm going to be an intensive care nurse, one of the very first newly qualified nurses to go into this job in this Trust (min 12 months experience required usually) and its a rotation job to boot!!
Just got one more shift as a student left, a few forms to fill in (the NHS loves paperwork), a CRB interview to attend and I'll get a start date.
Exciting times!
