Ok, has anyone else been hit by the monster storm that's just passed over Hemel in the last hour? I'd forgotton how bad these things got!
Would have been more fun to watch if I hadn't been driving with 10 feet of visibility though!

Big old storm here in Kent (Tunbridge Wells) at about 5.30, just as I was driving to pick the little 'un up from nursery.
Poor little thing got soaked going the 5 steps from the nursery to the car door :(

The roads turned into rivers a few hours ago here in Guildford.
At about 5pm it went almost pitch black and we had thunder and lightning with heavy rain in Reading. It lasted about 30 minutes.
On my way back from London I had to drive through it, then later on back in the office, it just turned black outside, then a nice display of thunder and lots of lightning, followed by a large downpour.
I was in Berkhamsted when it hit, driving rain and massive thunder crack.
No storm in sunny Shropshire, but we've had heavy rain since 4.... The wind is picking up now :) looking forward to cosying up in bed and falling asleep listening to it :)
Chucking it down now :(
