red / blue ............i had some from ages ago when i discovered trackmania can go 3d
red / blue ones are also handy for nvidia motion sickness (3d vision) as that lets you use them to rather than buying proper 120hz monitor

Am I one of the few people who isn't fussed about all this 3D stuff? I mean, it's a trend that's been coming and going for years, yet now everyone suddenly wants it in their own home. I kinda wish other parts of technology were being focused on right now.
i got a radeon vid card so i been using iz3d to play games, and i completely agree with you. im not fussed either. it gets boring too quickly....

I don't think you're alone in not being fussed. The big tech/movie companies have invested a lot in 3D so they're making a lot of noise in the media about it, trying to convince us that we all need 3DTVs, I don't think there's really a consumer demand for it. I'm certainly not spending thousands of pounds on a new TV just for 3D, especially not if I've got to ware a silly pair of glasses every time.
On the other hand, this Streetview 3D just seems like a bit of a laugh.

It was the randomness of
"Try Swansea" more than anything else, it seemed completely unrelated like
"ducks owning porsches" ... but less insane
Gone from Holland too, so I guess it's not just certain areas (such as Swansea), but Streetview in general. That's a shame, I wanted to see my place in 3D!
I guess I could go stand outside...
