    RAM Streams

    Anyone know how to save RAM streams??

    I want to record a radio 4 program that was on at 9:00 this morning. I can't get yesterday's program but todays is on "listen again" on the BBC website at the moment so presumably they'll delete todays tomorrow. Therefore I want to try and save todays as soon as possible.

    What you need is a stream recorder. Several exist - some commercial, some bundled with sound cards and some free.

    dbPowerAmp is free and works well - http://www.dbpoweramp.com/.

    Save the RAM file then use dbPowerAmp to convert (record) it into MP3 or whatever you need.

    cheers,

    Or use sound recorder, and set your record settings to "what you hear" - though sometimes it's a pain to get right.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();
