    The warmer weather made me realise something...

    I've not been cold in this room all winter. Why?

    Because my computers output a gzillion megawatts of heat, that's why!

    Now that it's warmer, if me and my mate have been playing UT2004 on both comps for a while, this place gets toasty!

    Still, when I sort my second desk out, a mini fridge with some cans in it will overcome that issue!
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    This weekend i was actually considering gettin a fan...every summer for the last 5 or so years i have considered getting a fan for my room, only like a 12" or something for £15..now i have the room, and a job i may well invest in one

    My rooms quite big so the computers dont affect it too much, but the whole upstairs of my house is about 8 million times hotter than downstairs its insane....

    I've spent the last winter with my radiator in my room, just the PC's to warm it, and boy did they work well (apart from when they broke :/)

    yup pc's are a great source for heat, especialy the top of ur CRT monitor . I havent been cold that many times when im in my room over the winter. My radiator is actualy turned off iirc. Over the weekend tho it got stuffy in here, but it was manageable. lol

    yep as soon as it gets warm i start to cook in my room as its so small the combination of a large tv a 19" crt and the vapochills compressor (which pumps out 45.C air @ 45cfm into my room!!!!) makes for a sweaty time particularly when sat in a leather chair

    + my pc has crashed a few times due to the northbridge getting too warm ,damn zalman gold thingy sucks even with a 120mm fan blowing on it

    Actually a mini-fridge will raise the temperature in the room as the heat exchanger takes warmth from the internals of the fridge and exchanges it into the surrounding room as the coil cools. The cooled beer in the fridge however will probably do the job

    It gets awfully hot in this room in the Summer. Just walk out onto the landing or downstairs or whatever and it's much cooler

    I've got a desktop fan that stays on in the scorching hot summer.. .Without it I will melt.

    My CPU gets quite hot too :\ so I will be keeping a close eye on my temps!

    Yeah getting hotter here too.
    My passive radiator watercooling system is not so effective in the warm and my comp is heating up . My new RAID array seems to pump out a lot of heat too .

    Luckily it never really gets that hot here.

    You heard the one about the polar bear in Cork zoo?

    Baby Bear: Mammy, are you sure we're polar bears, like?
    Mammy Bear: Yeah of course we are, like.
    Ten minutes pass
    Baby bear:Mammy, are you sure we're polar bears, like?
    Mammy Bear: Of course we are like.
    Ten minutes pass
    Baby Bear: Maaammy are you absolutely sure like that we're polar bears like?
    Mammy Bear: Of course we're polar bears like, what is your problem?
    Baby Bear: It's just that I'm f***in freezin.
