Despite my sheer hate for Brown I can't get too excited about this. It was obviously meant to be a private conversation.

Yes because as the leader of the country calling your voting public names behind closed doors is fine as long as when you go out in public you smile sweetly and give them lots of 'free' cash.
Personally I hope he sinks for it - I can't understand how a leader of a country can be given to you by a mate and not voted for by the population...

What really grinds my gears is this behavoir might stop people voting for him according to sky.
So wait a second? They where fine with chronic obstinance and refusal to listen to economic advisors, giving us the highest un-employment we've ever seen (and its only going to get worse in the short term) pissing away our gold, crippling us with debt.
But no, he says that a woman who from all accounts was a nusiance his aids should not have put in front of him..... People don't vote for him for that reason.
I HATE DEMOCRACY, BECAUSE I HATE ALL THOSE VOTERS!

the whole things corrupt, if its not duck houses it putting grown adults in front of the 'wrong people'
Anyone should have a right to voice their complaint in public and as the leading figure in the country you should ALWAYS be accountable - some have missed the gold sell off and others have missed certain other mistakes by labour along the way but quite frankly I am glad this has happened. Although in saying that I do not think the others are that much better at least they have been voted into the position within the party and should they win the election they have been voted in by the public.
Mr Brown didn't earn the crap ridden pedestal he's standing on and he defintely doesn't deserve to be given and easy ride into the election. People are entitled to speak to the PM - there should be no selection process or filtering, anyone has a right to - thats why the whole debate thing is a sham, you mean to tell me these discussion are not preplanned based on the selective nature of the questions posed within?

Sometimes things actually need to be said and his comments hit the nail on the head. Yes its not going to help his cause but if I was him I would not even bother with an apology and respect him more if he stuck his ground. Makes me laugh how they all bounce of each others mistakes rather than focusing on the real issues and maybe using their heads together to get this country sorted. i agree you need opposition sometimes to highlight the things wrong in this country and the leading party should action this but all this on the news at the moment simply makes me just want to turn off and not bother with any of them. They all go on about we need your vote don't just not vote then give me something to bloody vote for!

Democracy means the idiots get to vote too. And, in my experience, the idiots outnumber the sensible, intelligent, thoughtful people about 4:1. If you don't like that fact then you don't like democracy.
I'm with you on this one. No more democracy. Who's up for storming the houses of parliament?

TBH I think the press come off worst in this one. Gordon clearly thought she was bigot because of her immigration questions, she clearly thinks that she said nothing wrong and if anything is a bit puzzled but the press behaviour in this Reporters hounding her for responses seems almost childish.
