    Wee bit peckish

"Indian doctors are studying a remarkable 83-year-old holy man who claims to have spent the last seven decades without food and water."

now they (some doctors) have him under 24 hour surveillance! if true (which it aint) it would make me re-evaluate everything in my own life. i wonder, if 70 years ago he sampled the grub at my work canteen !?!

Well, the experiment started a week ago yesterday. I guess he's outdone David Blaine already, but not numerous earthquake survivors.

Just like the guy from the Middle East who claimed he had the power of 300 men - He performed the coin snap trick on TV to "prove" it and never shook anyones hand because he said he would crush it within a second.

haha yeah that man was absolutely hilarious.

didn't he also say he needed 3 wives or something, because he had a massive sex drive and one woman wouldn't suffice his libido.

    Re: Wee bit peckish

yeah i saw that 2 weeks have past as well, but what i don't get, is why did they only observe him for 2 weeks!
for all they know, he could have gone back home and got a kfc family bucket.

I say monitor him for months!! then we'll see his special powers.

    2 weeks without food? Perhaps.
2 weeks without water? Incredibly doubtful
2 weeks without going to the toilet? Impossible!

Something has to go in, that or he is breaking the conservation of energy law.
Yet i do like the suggesting he is getting energy from the sun.

That would mean that he didn't eat at least one day before the start of the experiment too.

I agree that a month would be the real test, but I guess that it is not incredible for the guy to say that he is only willing to be a guinea pig for two weeks (is he even paid for it?).

What's the world record for something like this? At the very least, this should put him in the top few percentile of genetically gifted low powered human.
