Lots of first-time posters who have work problems

I'm not having a go here, I'm just wondering if anyone else has noticed this.

People seem to be signing up to Hexus and their first posts are about how they've been fired/suspended or are facing disciplinary proceedings at work.

I must have read at least four or five threads about this in the last couple of months.

So why do you think this is?

Is it because the quality of advice here is so good? (And it usually is good) Are work problems the spur to make these tech lovers post on the forums? Is there something suspicious going on? (Probably not) Are the spate of first-time work posts a random cluster? (Maybe)

    Discuss.

Re: Lots of first-time posters who have work problems

Probably because if you search for a couple of the most popular phrases Hexus comes up top....and most people complaining about being fired aren't particularly engaged - at least not engaged enough to find out that this is a tech forum.

Just start a thread on any mid level topic of your choice (at least something that's not completely swamped by specialist forums) and it'll be top 10 at Google within a week. Such is the power of Hexus.

Surely you don't mean that if one were to type "hot nude teens" into this website which is most certainly not about "hot nude teens", then lots of people who were interested in "hot nude teens" would come here looking for "hot nude teens" when in fact there were no "hot nude teens" to be found here?
    Hot nude teens?
