OK, I'm hoping that one of my fellow Hexus membershas come across this problem and can offer me a solution as I'm at my wits ends with this!
Baiscally it seems like just about the whole neightbourhood of cats seems to want to use my front garden as their toilet, and I'm feed up having to scoop their crap up so that the garden doesn't stink.
I have tried a number of different things, and none of them so far have worked:
- Cat pepper
- Curry powder
- Raw Onion
- Prickly plants (although they are still growing)
- Netting (they find a gap at the side and crap there
)
- Bottles half filled with water (supposidly the reflection is supposed to scare them)
The powders seem to have a small effect, but it is short lived, and with the amount of rain we get is washed away all the time.
If I knew I wouldn't get sued for it I would fill the garden with mouse traps and bear traps, but alas that is not possible. Oh and shooting them, or planting catnip in the middle of the road is not an option either.
So.. any ideas?
