Anyone else noticed people liking groups with very long names that link to some dodgy website? Not sure if it's some kind of facebook exploit or what..
I know dodgy links and such have been around on msn for yearss but it is odd..
Any idea?

At first I thought you were talking about the Fun Facts one about clicking joints but I found some foreign thing. It took me to a lebanese search engine. There was another, single word, one also written in French and that took me to something similar. I would avoid it.
Was this about having a clicking neck?
Don't click 'em - there be malware galore floating around on facebook atm

We've been getting an influx of people bringing back laptops at work this week because they have clicked on these links in facebook and odd things have been happening within windows. We've had demands for refunds to deamnds for us re-installing the os for free lol
I don't click any links in facebook at all, far far safer.
Would be nice to have a tool (either via a website or browser plug-in) that enables an image preview of a page from an url (including those shortened ones). Recently one of my friend decided to 'like' one of those "Make $$$ from home" link. Of course it's a scam, but I had to make sure before I informed him (I have reason to believe that the he might've fallen for it). I ended up using Sandboxie with my browser which was a minor hassle. Turned out that only the web page's content was dodgy (as expected).
TooNice: if you're patient you could try something like http://browsershots.org/
Ooh, that's the right idea (I think, running a test now which will take a couple minutes). I am always surprised that you can find something fairly close to whatever you need software wise.
Newest one is a stupid site called I'm Awesome!!(except written about 1000 times so it takes up the whole homepage). It's just some dodgy website.
