Oh, and if I get the sense that you are simply posting for the Scan offer, I'll make sure that you are manually locked out of it - but I wouldn't want to be doing that

I'm not used to it really, previous forums I've posted on have been immune from it for various reasons... gets on my wick quite a lot.
At least we get a nice mixture of Nike Airmax and Scan free postage here though

OK, we're all responsible for our share of pointless posts, one-liners, lol's etc. However, taken in the context of a member's body of work we can safely assume that it is done with good intentions with nothing to gain, except just another post and a snigger-or-two.
Now for those just starting their HEXUS posting career, it's all a bit different. We don't know the posters intentions, but we have a good guess when reviewing their posting style whether they are a long-term contributor, or just spamming their way to Scan free postage, ForSale access, to just spam a link, or merely trolling.
We make an awful lot of judgment calls in the process, sometimes right & sometimes wrong, but it's always just a guessing game. BUT it seems to keep HEXUS on an even-keel most of the time
I've always thought Hexus to be run pretty fairly and squarely. Not like another forum I can think of where its controled with an iron fist !
Did SiM or Madduck put you up to this?
