Argh. I hate to be so picky but people mis-spelling lose as loose wind me up!
lose = not winning etc.
loose = not tight.

Sorry I don't proof read posts to forums, I touch type far too much and live in MS spell checker land to resolve issues like that for me.
I apologise for winding you up.

I lose days all the time. Seriously feels like a sunday today...
When the summer holiday sets in I dont know where I am, every day is just another, It doesnt really matter to me. Well I say that now but when the end of the holiday comes Im gonna think "what the... I had 12 weeks off ?!?!?!"
It sucks it really does. Especially when I get given dead lines for jobs. :(
Ive slept a day and lost it before :p
after 48hours out on a camping/hiking trip, slept over 24hours lol :)
Loose days? Those were in my yoof TiG, a few visits to the clinic sorted that out tho... ;)
Nope I keep track of my days. It's not like whoops where did Sunday go. I don't sleep until hideous times in the afternoon thus missing half the day either :p
I lose time i can be putting the lead on the dog one minit and then im sat on the PC the next trying to work out how i got there and if my dog went out :eek:
I count hours at work by how many empty cups of coffee are at my desk (Each one = 1/2 hour). Generic programmer......
Eye loose two muttch time chicken sphell chequers fore miztaches..
Sew eye downt boffer ene moore.:p
Oh no an hour has went by while i was writing this:D
i loose days all the time, was talking about this earlier all the days just tend to blur into one :/
I once wrote the wrong year on some form :D
My thoughts on it are that, as you get older you gain more knowledge and experience so you find that you dont focus on things as much as you have probably done in the past.Quote:

So a lot of things that you would concentrate on have become second nature so you do not take your time on them you just do them so to me eventually following that train of thought you get bored focusing on things and just do them near-enough automatically and the next thing you know the day is ending.
It's only when you start thinking about how bored you are, or when something go's wrong do you focus on the things going on around you.
One flaw i can think of is when you do enjoy something and time flys like no tomorrow..
Any suggestions on my train of thought??
i think you've got the right kinda idea there, my shifts at work got quicker because everything i do is second nature, its like a script.
Time flying when your having fun is weird as sometimes it seems to go in slow motion in your head but actually takes up alot of time :/
"put your hand on a hot pan and an second can seem like and hour, get your hands on a hot woman and an hour can seem like a second"
"put your hand on a hot pan and an second can seem like and hour, get your hands on a hot woman and an hour can seem like a second" i love that quote, where did you hear that? :)

i can play a game (Civilzation 3) be focusing hard on it, where minutes seem to drag as you think of all possible decisions you could make (That does seem to be in slow motion) and you feel you havent being playing for too long just concentrating a lot and 5 hours have gone by :(
An analogy for time that works for me is..
(well for when we ignore it)
if you get the chance to look at picture or film of the earth from a far it seems to be a made up of different colours its an amazing sphere and every time you look at it its always there and you take no notice of it anymore.
It's only when you look closer that you realise how many layers it has, the clouds, atmosphere, the land masses, all the people, endless expanses of water, different animals and diverse plants.
And these things we get used to, it takes energy to take any notice of them, just like time, its only when we look at them closely do we notice that they are there.
hehe i am always doin it, i have missed meetin people cause of it and stuff, i hate it, its very annoying

its weird when you take a step back and look at it all for a while.
In my last job, time disappeared very quickly... The day is not long enough for the amount of work. The weekdays merged together into one long 'work session' and the weekends were too short for decent time for R&R... :(
it seems like I've lost three months - I can't believe the year has gone so quickly... mind u in saying that I've not really had a holiday and am working constantly so there you go!
