    Non-Drowsy Travel sickness pills(which work)

I am having to travel from the south of england to scotland in a few weeks for work. I am going by train, and am going to be travelling from about 7.30am to about 4-5pm.

Normally on a train I'm fine, but being on trains for that long, I will be reading, surfing on the net etc.
I have occasionally become a little travel sick before if I am focussing on something static(book/netbook etc) and not looking out of window.

Can anyone recommend some good travel sick pills which are non-drowsy, or have any other suggestions for stopping the sickness? Someone did suggest ginger helps(like ginger sweets), anyone have experience of this?
I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.

    ginger

get some fresh root ginger and candy it yourself with thin slices (as it's pretty potent on it's own) by rolling in sugar etc

    nom when appropriate

That said I haven't gotten travel sick in years, it's usually just an epic hangover
