Now this is amazing that the scientific community is getting such accuracy, I mean 70 million years is peanuts in the grand scheme of things, I just find it astonishing that they can say for certain anything beyond the nearest billion!A new geological study has set a more accurate age for planet Earth, according to scientists.
Researchers say their investigation shows the Earth is 70 million years younger than the 4.537 billion-year-old planet "we had previously imagined".
That said, the 'tard brigade, be they flat earthers, or religious fundamentalists will probably still ignore it.
But anyway, figured it was worth sharing with the geeks on hexus, who might find the accuracy they can get from 182-hafnium and 182-tungsten isotopes fascinating!
