    Holiday Checklist!

Right folks, holiday time on Wednesday for me!

I've got me a wee checklist of things I've got to sort out before then, but I'm after any random suggestions of things to take/prepare before going on Holiday so that I can be sure I've not missed anything!

Here is what I have so far:
    - Money (got US Dollars, getting some Canadian dollars from my Dad and I'll get more if required!)
    - Suitcase Packing (my sister is checking it tomorrow!)
    - US Travel Adapter (yet to get, may have to get in London or USA if I can't find one at Tesco near work on Monday/Tuesday!)
    - Call Bank (done!)
    - Call Orange (done!)
    - New MicroSD Card for Phone/Pics (still to be done)
    - USA Visa Waiver (done, ages ago. UK citizens are Visa exempt from Canada)

Any other things you can think of that I've missed?

    Cheers

    Re: Holiday Checklist!

Load up your chosen MP3 player with whatever music you want so you can listen to something on the plane on the way over ?

Pack some decent tea bags (my parents do this as the ones they seem to get when away abroad are awful in comparison to the ones they get on holiday)

    Can't think of anything else.

    Re: Holiday Checklist!

    Cheers folks!

Got my Camera on my phone (K850i) and I've just been given my sisters digital camera too, so I should be sorted for taking pics!

Not a Tea drinker, so that won't be an issue. Got a feeling I won't be needing condoms either

Interesting suggestion from Barakka, something I hadn't considered. I'm sure I could live with parting from a few of the T-Shirts etc I've got with me - we'll see how that works out though!

Basic first aid stuff; plasters, insect repellent/ bite soother, antiseptic. You know the drill- it saves you having to search around for a pharmacy when any problems arise.

    Re: Holiday Checklist!

You do not appear to have listed "Passport".

I assume by "USA Visa Waiver" you mean ESTA. You'll probably also have to fill in the green visa waiver form on the airplane, if arriving into the US, or possibly at the land border if you go in from Canada.

Again, if flying into the US first, you'll need to tell them the address of your first night's stay when you check in, so have it to hand.

Passport....I had that in mind, but didn't even think about adding it to my list!

I do mean ESTA, yeah. I'll be flying in to the USA and going across the border (in both directions) via Road.

Didn't know about that address thing - thanks for that!
