The story also confirms that BMW drivers have smaller manhoods....
At this point it discharged, hitting his groin and ankle but narrowly missing his genitals.![]()
Maybe it's just the police who drive Corsa's and Fiesta's that don't like the BMW driver's, there just jealous![]()
It's somerset... they drive combine harvesters down there that's why![]()
poor sod, accident or not the cop wants putting in a desk job and the guy should get a decent payout.

Gutted - that is all
ouch .....
I bet his wife wont be accepting that accidental excuse any more"As soon as it was done, [the officer] came running up to me apologising and said it was an accidental discharge,"![]()
With the caveat that this is just a media report, with all that that entails, my first reaction is that this is a classic example of why police officers should not be armed as standard. For all that it is bad when it was a taser, it'd be far worse if it was a 9mm.
Secondly, the bloke got out of his car and was "acting aggressively", yet afterwards, the officer had to "come running up". It seems to me that if the officer was at a distance, actually pointing the taser at him was not necessary, until and unless he was actually becoming a threat. This is the danger - give some officers a weapon and the risk is they use it when it is not strictly necessary, and even a taser did not ought to be pointed at someone unless, first, it's necessary, and second, the officer is serious about using it. Draw it and ready it, by all means, but don't point it at people unless it is necessary.
