Personally I thought Jetset willy was pointless and didn't like it. Manic miner was linear just so anal with timing.

Was Manic Miner just 20 single-screen levels?

My memory's gone now, I get all the Manic Miner/Monty Mole era games confused.

I think I finished it, and it made you go through the levels in reverse?

Can't swear to it though - but I know I didn't finish Jet Set Willy, that game seemed huge at the time, with "impossible" flashing thingies to pick up.

I got past the first level once I think!

Then again, it was just a bit before me - I was more of an Atari ST/Mega Drive guy.

Not finished, no. Didn't get very far on the Speccy version, as it was very slow and I was little more than a whelp at the time.

Played it since though, and played a version for Windows, and got much further, but still didn't finish it.

The Warehouse usually finishes me off, or Sky Lab Landing Bay.

Nope I didn't get anywhere near the finish In my defence, I was only a young pup and wasn't allowed on the spectrum that much as it was the "families" so there was another 4 to compete with (my mum was worst for space invaders!)
